Home And Community Care Service

The Home and Community Care (HACC) Program provides services which support frails older people and younger people with a disability and the carers of these people. HACC enables people to remain independent and living in their own home.

The IERA-VIC receives funding from the Federal and State Governments to provide a wide range of support to Indochinese elderly persons. Under the HACC program, the IERA-VIC is currently providing Planned Activity Program (PAG) and Community Aged Care Packages (CACP).

HACC offers the following services:

Home care (home help or housekeeping)
Personal care
Nursing (community nursing, home nursing)
Allied health services (physiotherapy, podiatry, dietetics, etc)
Food services (meals on wheels and center-based meals)
Planned activity groups
Property maintenance
Respite services
Linkages packages
Friendly Visiting/Telelink/Respite/Transport Services provided by volunteers (Volunteer Coordination)
