Welcome to the Senior Groups at the Indochinese Elderly Refugees Association Victoria

The Senior Groups at the Indochinese Elderly Refugees Association (IERA) is a special place where older members of our community come together to connect, share, and support each other. Many of our members have journeyed through difficult times as they moved from their homeland to start a new life here. Today, these groups offers a warm, caring environment where our senior members can build friendships, celebrate their cultural heritage, and enjoy the comfort of a close-knit community.

We understand the unique challenges that come with aging, especially as refugees, and our goal is to ensure that no one has to face those challenges alone. Whether it’s through social gatherings, cultural events, or simple moments of companionship, our Senior Groups is here to provide a sense of belonging and joy for all who join us.

Whether through educational workshops, social gatherings, or simply a safe environment for open dialogue, the Senior Group at the Indochinese Elderly Refugees Association is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for its members. We are committed to providing a strong support system, celebrating diversity, and ensuring that every senior feels valued, heard, and respected.

In these groups, everyone is welcome, valued, and respected. Together, we create a space where seniors can share their stories, preserve traditions, and feel supported as they navigate this stage of life. The Senior Groups at the Indochinese Elderly Refugees Association (IERA) is more than just a community—it’s a family, and we’re excited to have you with us.
