On 14 November 2025 at 11:00 AM, the Indochinese Elderly Refugees Association (IERA) Victoria held its 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM). This year’s AGM brought together a total of 240 members from six sub-branches. In addition, some members who are residents of the Mekong Nursing Home also attended.

Following the welcoming remarks and opening by the President, Ms. Huỳnh Loan, the AGM proceeded with reports summarizing IERA Vic’s activities for the 2024–2025 financial year:
_General activity report of the Association, including elderly care and support services: presented by External Vice President, Mr. Châu Xuân Hùng

_Summary of activities of the six sub-branches: presented by Secretary-General, Mr. Trần Như Hùng

_Financial report for the 2024–2025 financial year: presented by Treasurer, Ms. Trịnh Thị Vân

_Detailed reports on the activities of the six branches—St Albans, Footscray, Preston, Kensington, Collingwood, and Richmond—presented by each branch leaders.






The Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of IERA Vic presented certificates of recognition to acknowledge the efforts and achievements of the branch committees over the past year. At this year’s AGM, 15 members were granted “Permanent membership” status after 15 consecutive years as full members.

During lunch, all attendees enjoyed a special cultural performance featuring singing and dancing by singers Nghiêm Lệ and Quách Giang, accompanied by the Hương Xưa dance group.




This was followed by a Lucky Draw, where many attractive prizes were awarded to members. The AGM concluded successfully at 2:00 PM.
